Some in Flagstaff are not happy with the two minimum wage laws that were passed in November.

Prop. 206, which was a state-wide measure and approved in November, raised the minimum wage to $10 an hour in 2017 and will increase it to $12 an hour by 2020.

Voters in Flagstaff also approved a city measure, Prop. 414, that raises the minimum wage another $2 starting on July 1. That means the minimum wage for businesses in Flagstaff will jump from $8.05 per hour in 2016 to $12 per hour by July 2017.
